New unit set up to investigate deaths in custody

Bernama IPOH: Police are mulling to transfer a General Operations Forces (GOF) brigade from the peninsula to Sabah following looming threats in the east coast of the State. Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador said police intelligence continued to receive information that there are efforts to attack the State. “We realise that the security threats from the neighbouring countries are drastically increasing.  “However, we managed to avoid the attacks with cooperation from the Philippines who are constantly communicating with us. But the threats are always there.
