GPs in England overwhelmingly reject contract changes

GPs across England have voted overwhelmingly to reject changes to their national contract for 2024-25. Of the 19 009 GPs and GP registrars who took part in a BMA referendum on the changes, 99% (18 854) voted no to the question of whether they accept changes to the General Medical Services contract from the government and NHS England and 155 (1%) voted yes.
