(WDBJ) - The Virginia Military Institute Board of Visitors has voted to make its temporary superintendent permanent. The board voted Thursday to permanently install Maj. Gen. Cedric Wins as superintendent. He had been serving on an interim basis since being named to succeed General J.H Binford Peay III, who resigned from the superintendent position in October 2020 after 17 years.
