Imperial Gen Assurance boosts fight against COVID-19

705 Imperial General Assurance has supported two basic schools in the Greater Accra Region with COVID-19 preventive items to enhance their fight against the pandemic. The schools, St Peter’s Anglican Cluster of Schools and the Rashad Islamic School located at Ofankor and Mallam Atta respectively, received 15,000 nose masks, 768 bottles of sanitisers, gallons of liquid soaps and hands-free Veronica buckets. The donation formed part of the company’s effort to help protect lives and livelihoods against the pandemic which had killed 783 Ghanaians and infected 93,656 others as of May 19. Presentation The Managing Director of Imperial General Assurance, Mr Robert Wugah, who presented the items to the representatives of the schools, said containing the spread of the virus was a shared responsibility.
