Del. Barry Knight, who was first elected in 2009, said he was given no advance notice he was being removed from the appropriations committee. Knight said he suspects the shake-up may be retribution for Monday, when Republicans and Democrats clashed over an abortion-related bill from a freshman Republican delegate.
