GOP gubernatorial candidate Hirsh Singh, running his fourth campaign for office in as many years, demanded NJ PBS hold tomorrow s planned debate in person despite previously agreeing to the format. He also refused to take a COVID test ahead of it. So the network pulled the plug.
N.J. cities, towns are acting quickly to ban weed businesses by August deadline

As cities and towns around New Jersey continue to roll out ordinances that would prevent cannabis business from opening within their borders, some are taking the cautious route: banning everything until they see how it works in other cities and towns and thinking they might revisit down the road.
Under the marijuana legalization law signed by Gov. Phil Murphy, cities and towns have the power to control both medical and legal weed businesses in their towns. They can also levy fines on those who use cannabis in public, and some Jersey Shore towns have already taken those steps. But they cannot stop people from using cannabis on private property or having it delivered to them.
