The anniversary of the horrific Christchurch earthquake of February 22, 2011, has always been a traumatic day for Marg Stocker. The Temuka woman lost her husband Neil Stocker who died while removing a damaged organ from the Durham St Methodist Church when the 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck. February 22, her birthday, has remained a day of mixed emotions, with the tragedy never far from her mind. “I live with it every day. Over the years the rawness has softened, but it’s always there.
