As of 4th of March 2021, AIG Belgium has changed its name and logo to Gem Report Antwerp. The decision was made after years of facing difficulties concerning the former name such as mix-ups with other laboratories who carry similar names (GIA, IGI, etc.) and associations with laboratories such as AIG Milan and AIG Israel while it is in fact an independent laboratory.
“Having said this, everything else other than name and logo will remain. Our state-of-the-art equipment as well as our gemologists, our work ethic and our approach,” says Lielle Shapiro.
