Top actors and performers have joined hands to save the Hilton Arts Festival.
Hilton Arts Festival, which is known for presenting theatre, music, dance, and fine arts for 30 years in KwaZulu-Natal, is appealing to the public to save the festival by donating.
The festival-like many other businesses have not been able to stay afloat due to the pandemic.
Popular actors and performers such as Dr John Kani, Fiona Ramsay, Greig Coetzee, Nthati Moshesh, and Gcina Mhlope have joined hands in creating a campaign where the public can contribute any amount no matter how big or small, to help keep the event afloat.

There is no end to retelling good stories and Africa’s legendary story-teller Gcina Mhlope will do just that to keep children educationally entertained for 15 days during the extended school break with a daily five-minute online story.
Private higher education MANCOSA’s School of Education will again distribute children stories while schools remain closed until 15 February because of the pressure experienced by the health system since the increase in COVID-19 infections.
Last year MANCOSA partnered with the Gcinamasiko Arts and Heritage Trust to get Mhlope, the world-renowned actress, playwright, storyteller and author, to keep children captivated with her iconic voice and knack of storytelling.
