GULMIT, Baltistan – The Silk Route Festival in Gulmit, Gojal Baltistan Pakistan, concluded on October 29, 2013 that was attended by a large number of foreign delegations and diplomats including from Central Asia. Diplomats from about 22 countries in Pakistan also visited the Silk Route Festival 2013 in Karimabad. They were accompanied by Speaker Gilgit Baltistan, Legislative Assembly Wazir Baig, and Adviser to CM on Tourism, Culture and Youth Affairs Sadia Danish.
The diplomats were welcomed to the festival in Hunza by the Hunza-Nagar district administration officials and then accompanied to Altit Fort, where a large number of traditional items were presented.
