On Thursday Russian gas giant Gazprom said that it had discussed the upcoming 2024 cooperation plans with the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), including potential gas supplies from Russia through Mongolia.
Gazprom considering constructing LNG facility at Amur GPP for off-grid gas supply, gas engines
MOSCOW. April 26 (Interfax) - PJSC Gazprom is considering possibly constructing a production facility for liquefied natural gas (LNG) as part of the Amur gas processing plant (GPP), Gazprom Deputy Chairman Vitaly Markelov said during a meeting of the Council on Gasification of Russia s Constituent Entities under the auspices of the Federation Council.
Markelov said that the LNG produced would be used for the needs of off-grid gas supplies as well as for refueling gas-engine vehicles, including vehicles engaged in the logistics of liquefied helium from the Amur GPP.
