The HC bench of Justice Md Habibul Gani and Justice Md Riaz Uddin Khan came up with the orders after a hearing on 23 separate bail petitions filed by the accused leaders and workers. The HC asked 74 accused of three cases filed with Shahbagh and Ramna police stations in Dhaka to surrender before a trial court by March 21 in connection with the cases filed against them.

The High Court bench of Justice Md Habibul Gani and Justice Md Riaz Uddin Khan passed the order after holding hearing on separate 36 petitions filed in this regard. Barrister Kayser Kamal and advocate Gazi Kamrul Islam Sajal appeared in the hearing for the bail seekers, while Deputy Attorney General Abul Hashem represented the state.

Lawyer Kaiser Kamal, accompanied by Gazi Kamrul Islam Sajal, stood for the BNP leaders and activists in the court, while Deputy Attorney General Abul Hashem represented the state. The BNP leaders and activists will have to appear before the court by Feb 7, lawyer Kaiser Kamal told reporters afterwards.
