Liverpool played well over all, and got their first goal from open play. A goal by substitute Hayley Raso in the 75th minute proved to be a back breaker, however, as Liverpool failed to convert their own chance late in the match.
Liverpool looked much more positive with the ball all game long, but still failed to get a shot off until the second half as they fell to their third straight loss in the WSL.
Despite Liverpool’s third consecutive loss in the WSL, there were quite a few positives to take away from their performance against a very good Arsenal side. Still, Liverpool need to start finding a way to get the ball in the net.
