Janice Anderson, 90, of Middlebury

Thu, 04/01/2021 - 10:06am sarahp JANICE ANDERSON MIDDLEBURY Janice “Jan” Anderson, born Oct. 13, 1930, passed away on March 19, 2021. She lived her 90 years to the fullest. She was married to her soul mate, Chuck, for 56 years until his passing in 2008. They met at Colby College, and she remained active with the alumni community. Jan and Chuck raised their family in Fairfield, Conn., where she also taught elementary school until retiring to Harwich, Mass. She became a valued member of her community on the Cape, fulfilling her lifelong passion for theater by acting in local theater productions. She also enjoyed traveling, reading to the blind and playing golf. Jan lived the last several years in Middlebury, Vt., and was involved in the Resident Council at The Residence at Otter Creek, reading to area schoolchildren and spending time with family.

As a team, the Chanticleers carded rounds of 284, 292, and 295 to place in fifth overall at 871, +7, and in front of Kent State (874, +10), Indiana (876, +12), No. 35 Ole Miss (879, +15), East Tennessee State (879, +15), UNCG (890, +26), and five other teams.

Speaking in the Senate yesterday, Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Minister Kamina Johnson Smith revealed yesterday that the Government had taken steps to appeal the court’s decision. Her comments came during debate on the Dangerous Drugs (Amendment) Act, 2020 and the Evidence (Amendment) Act, 2020. Debate was later suspended to be continued and concluded in January 2021.
