For anyone who witnessed live, or watched the video of it afterward, the scene a month ago of University of Florida star basketball player Keyontae Johnson suddenly collapsing on the court during a game in Tallahassee against rival Florida State University was terrifying.
Just moments earlier, Johnson had score on an alley-oop dunk. A timeout was called and both teams went to their respective benches. He was heading back onto the court when he was stricken.
Johnson was administered emergency first aid and, while looking unresponsive and semi-conscious, quickly stretchered away.
