A man turned himself in after a murder in Gateway on Monday, Lt. Shannon Jenkins with the Benton County Sheriff s Office announced.The Bentonville Police Department gave a tip to the Sheriff s Office about a possible homicide at an address along U.S. Highway 62 in Gateway.When deputies arrived, they found Robert Blau, 38, dead.During the investigation, Glenn Thatcher, age 44, turned himself in, according to Jenkins.The victim’s wife, Kirsten Blau told 40/29 News she and the victim knew the suspect who turned himself in. She said she wants to honor her husband’s life tonight. “He was a good man, he really was, he did his best to make everyone smile,” said Kirsten Blau. Thatcher is being held in jail on charges of capital murder.Jenkins told 40/29 no other information is currently available for release.
