part of the actions between Mafco and Moyale
It was a must win game for Moyale Barracks but the visitors seemed to be rough and physical in their initial approach of the game.
Just in the first minute from kick-off, Moyale Barracks marksman Gastin Simkonda was knocked down and the match had to be stopped for some time. When he returned onto the field of play, he continued receiving a series of knocks until he picked an injury that could not allow him take further part in the game. He was replaced by Chamveka Gwetsani.
As is always the case when these two military sides meet, the game lacked excitement as it was played with no clear pattern. Peter Kasonga for MAFCO headed the ball from Kingsley Nkhonjera’s cross three minutes before recess but goalkeeper Simeon Harawa was alert to tip the ball over the cross bar.
