The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services and the Environmental Protection Agency were in Franklin on Thursday investigating the leak that affected more than 100 people, forcing some to evacuate their homes.
Residents and business owners on Central Street in Franklin were being allowed to go back inside Thursday evening after they were evacuated the night before because of a gasoline leak.
