River Walk barges are back but staffing and restaurant squabble still limiting routes, services

The tourists are coming back, but San Antonio’s River Walk barge tours can’t meet the demand because of a shortage of workers including boat captains.
It’s keeping more than half the fleet off the river, leading to curtailed services and lengthy waits for would-be passengers.

Perhaps a more permanent solution would be for the city to offer a land swap for the River Road golf course, since they have no plans to run it and will probably sell the land to a developer anyway.
Just a thought.
Some students get it, why not others?
I just watched a large group of local high schoolers walk by, I find it amazing that they know enough to wear masks while being together, and yet university-aged students still don’t get it.
Together with the so-called freedom marchers and anti-maskers, they are driving our case counts sky high.
