Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- These police reports include arrests through June 21, 2021. Charges for those arrested include felony burglary, DUI, and domestic battery.

Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- A Park Forest woman was charged with a felony DUI on June 27, 2021. These reports, which also include charges of domestic assault, DUI, and criminal trespass to real property, are for the week of June 22-28, 2021.

This Week at the Park Forest Public Library: Curbside, Outdoor, and Virtual Events

Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- The Park Forest Public Library has been open during the pandemic, though activities and events are now outdoors and virtual. The library, which also serves Olympia Fields, has an activity posted for every day this week.
New patrons who sign up to get a library card get a free book. Library patrons can also access the New York Times for free. Check the PFPL’s website for more information.

Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Barack Obama once said, “In the unlikely story that is America, there has never been anything false about hope.” That hope and joy was on full display as Park Foresters turned out in large numbers for the first July 4 parade since the beginning of the pandemic. The smiles were on display even as the late afternoon heat approached 90 at the start of the march. The humidity, while evident, was neither thick nor oppressive.
