Gov.-elect Cox, Lt. Gov-elect Henderson announce more selections for staff positions © Provided by KUTV Salt Lake City Gov.-elect Spencer Cox and Lt. Gov.-elect Deidre Henderson announced Monday 19 selections for roles in their new administration.  “After a thorough interview process, I’m convinced each of these candidates will serve the citizens of Utah exceptionally well,” Cox stated in a news release.  Each has impeccable qualifications, brings fresh ideas and, most importantly, is devoted to public service. We’re lucky to have such brilliant minds willing to serve the public. Unless otherwise noted, the appointees will require confirmation of the Utah Senate. All of the cabinet and staff appointees are from all parts of the state. They include:

Editor s note: This is a developing story and will be updated as more information is made available.  Effective Jan. 4, St. George Mayor Jon Pike will step down as the city s top elected official to accept a role running the Utah Insurance Department in Governor-elect Spencer Cox s administration.  Pike s appointment to Commissioner of the Utah Insurance Department was announced Monday morning among 19 other cabinet nominations for the incoming administration.
