Tuesday, April 13, 2021 Berryville City Hall File photo The Berryville City Council held an abbreviated meeting last week, giving approval to a pair of requests to make use of the city’s downtown square. The first, from Gary Gunn, requested permission to perform as a one-man band, using music to “talk about Jesus.” The time requested for these events was each Saturday through the fall, for two hours after the Farmer’s Market, with the expectation that they not interfere with any other events or city functions. The second request came from Starlene Lee and Keith Rivera on behalf of the Carroll County Historical and Genealogical Society, asking permission to make use of several sites in an effort to recreate “an old tradition in Berryville,” Pioneer and Heritage Days.
