To the first cold snap of the season. Up north it is even colder. We have some video from the high country with flagstaff schools on a two hour delay. With regard to specifically the source and transit zone for narcotics we also have significant partnerships with countries in south and Central America that allow us to board their flag vessels on the high seas, recognizing that many of the nations dont have robust coast guards or navies with the kind of off shore capability that we have. So those partnerships allow us to detect and interdict drug shipments far off shore. Today beginning with the signing of an executive order to expand federal job Training Programs. President obama himself admitted his proposal lacks anything that could be described as a new idea. President obama so what were going to do is review all of the federal job Training Programs and were going to be supporting local ones. Lets find what programs are working best and let stickel due them and expand them. Lou it would worry some of the president s doesnt already know which programs are working and which do not. The president s remarks included somewhat of a bizarre shot at higher education. Mr. Obama telling his audience that college is just not necessary for success. A lot of young people no longer see the trades and skilled manufacturing as a viable career, but i promise you folks can make a lot more potentially with skilled manufacturing
