• The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County, Freehold Township, will present “Gellman American Dream,” a documentary and talk by Gary Gellman about creating family archives. This will be a Zoom presentation on Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. Admission is $5 for museum members and $7 for non-members. The documentary features Gellman’s family, who were Jewish immigrant farmers during the first half of the 20th century. • Ocean County Library projects for adults, teens and children are available to take home in a “Take and Make” project. “Take and Make” projects are designed to be useful, novel and decorative. No special skills are needed. “Take and Make” materials are packed in specially marked bags which are available at individual library branches while supplies last. Descriptions in the library’s online brochures and events calendar inform users of extra equipment needed, such as scissors or glue. During January, patrons have choices among 45 “Take and Make” projects available at Ocean County Library branches.
