Problems with off road vehicles churning up grass and causing nuisance in neighbourhoods have cropped up on Hardwick, Roseworth, and Thornaby estates for years. Sgt Gary Cookland told the latest Safer Stockton Partnership how two of the worst offenders were now facing a prison sentence if they were caught one more time. He said: “We had two of the most prolific offenders who were caught last week – and both have received additional disqualification periods. “The next time they come into our targets, they are looking at custodial sentences.
