Lights on the Lake was canceled for the second straight year, but a show will still take place on the Fourth of July.

STATELINE, Nev. Having a Fourth of July fireworks show in Stateline was definitely a longshot after Lights on the Lake was canceled.
But Gardnerville resident Jonathan Ruppel managed to put together a reasonable version less than two weeks after the Tahoe Douglas Visitors Authority announced the cancellation.
“It was just out of nowhere,” Ruppel said of the support he received. “I was starting to lose hope a little when people started contacting me.”
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - COVID-19 has put the brakes on many fundraisers and group events, but as more get the vaccine and businesses start the process to get back to full capacity, events are also making a comeback.
One of those events returns in June. Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe is hosting its fourth Brewfest on June 19, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cost is $30 per person which gives participants a wristband and commemorative glass to be filled up. A portion of the proceeds will go to support Christmas Cheer. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
Besides beer, there will be live music, spirits, kombucha, soda tasting, and live music in the Village.
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - With many Lake Tahoe Basin concert series either postponed or canceled due to COVID-19, the Heavenly Village is expanding its live music schedule this summer. The free series has shows over 39 weeks this year with the summer series starting May 28.
