The Alliance Review
A large crowd stopped Sunday at Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department to take part in the annual breakfast fundraiser.
The event was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but returned this year as a drive-through event.
Fire Chief Terry Wilson said the breakfast, in at least its 40th year, sold hundreds of meals, which consisted of eggs, sausage, hash browns, toast, and pancakes and syrup.
The department got help from youngsters Garrett Dickerhoof and Adam Brahler, who collected donations in a firefighter boot as meals were handed through the passenger-side window of vehicles.
