Created: January 13, 2021 06:51 PM (ABC 6 News) - Stewartville student-manger Nick Vetsch has been named the Minnesota State High School League Most Valuable Teammate of the week for his work with the Tigers in football, basketball and baseball. Vetsch reached out to the coaches before he reached out to the high school about becoming a manager, immediately making a strong impression. Garret Mueller and Adam Girtman, Stewartville s coaches for football and basketball respectively, say his straight-forward nature and willingness to help have been as asset all four years of his high school career. Complete package of everything you d want in a person or a teammate. Selfless, hard-working, goes about his business, and doesn t require a lot from others to do a good job, Girtman said.
