Richard “Dick” Rhodes, 79, of Marshalltown, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center.
Funeral services for Dick will take place on Friday, April 16 at 11:30 A.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Dick will be laid to rest following the service at Sheridan Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family. Richard Floyd Rhodes was born on July 20, 1941 at home in the Sheridan Township to parents Floyd and Freda (Bennett) Rhodes. After falling in love with Martha “Marty” Shepard, they were united in marriage on June 26, 1962 at the Le Grand Friends Church.
