The expansion, which will accommodate new office space for the store, will eliminate about 15 parking spaces adjacent to Field Street, which leads to the Hampton Inn parking lot.
Orlovski said office, the employee break room, and merchandising support departments will be moved to the new space. There is no exact start time for construction, Orlovski said. We are targeting early spring of this year.
Total costs have not been determined for the project.
Details on the second phase of the project have not been revealed, but it will include the west side of the building, adjacent to Wegmans-owned Johnson City Liquor and Wine.
