Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday directed Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid to visit Sindh and prepare a strategy to deal with the worsening law and order situation in the province after meeting law enforcement agencies (LEAs).
The interior minister would present a report to the premier on his return.
This was shared by Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry who said the decision was taken after Prime Minister Imran held a detailed discussion with Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar on the province s situation.

SHIKARPUR: At least eleven casualties, including three coppers and a photographer, have been reported as the police-led operation against Kandhkot gangs’ siege comes to an end on Sunday, ARY News reported citing Shikarpur Senior Superintendent of Police.
Confirming the developments on the clash, SSP Shikarpur Ameer Saud said the personnel were martyred in the fight to maintain law and order in the area while eight to -12 of the alleged gangster were executed in exchange of fire.
SSP Saud said one of the alleged gangsters has been arrested as well.

Three policemen were martyred and four others were injured on Sunday in an ongoing operation against dacoits in the riverbed area in Khanpur, Shikarpur district, Sindh.
The outlaws attacked an armoured personnel carrier (APC) with rockets and anti-aircraft guns, killing the policemen.
Shikarpur SSP Ameer Saud Magsi confirmed the casualties in the operation. But, he claimed that six dacoits have also been killed. We won t stop at any sacrifice. Until we don t recover all the kidnapped people, we will continue the operation, he said while talking to the media.
