A BBC Radio presenter who died in May after receiving her first shot of the Oxford-AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine fell prey to extremely rare blood clots resulting from the jab, a coroner has found.
The death of award-winning BBC radio presenter Lisa Shaw was caused by complications as a result of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine, a coroner in Newcastle has concluded.
The 44-year-old BBC Radio Newcastle presenter died in May. She had a brain haemorrhage after complications from the AstraZeneca/Oxford University vaccine.
