Tenants of a plush block of flats in Devonport who were evacuated over fire safety concerns have been allowed to return to their homes.
Latitude 52 in Albert Road was examined last week by Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service and residents were understandably left reeling at the news that a number of them would have to pack their bags and find alternative accommodation so that emergency remedial work could be carried out.
Tenants in Plymouth told to move out over fire safety fears
Plymouth City Council has posted an emergency order which prohibits the use of 42 flats at Latitude 52 until remedial work is carried out
