321,000 euro worth of drugs have been seized by gardai in north Mayo since the start of this year, together with over 12,000 euro in cash.
That’s according to the Garda Chief Superintendent in the county Tony Healy.
Speaking to Midwest News today the Chief Supt said this is a significant amount of drugs to have taken out of circulation in the area over a few weeks, and should significantly hit the product and cash of drug dealers.
The Mayo Chief Supt has today thanked the general public for their cooperation and the information they supply to the Garda Drugs Task Force and Community Engagement Gardai concerning suspicious drug activity in the county.
