Following the Prime Minister s roadmap out of lockdown announcement on Monday, people have rushed to book their staycation for this summer, with Devon being the most popular choice. With people being allowed to have self-catering breaks from April 12, an avalanche of bookings have been reported from many holiday destinations with people looking to enjoy a break after lockdown.
Within minutes of the announcement, The Rest Easy Group, which operates some of the nation s leading holiday rental marketplaces reported a huge increase in demand.
