ITZY s SHOOT! Accused of Plagiarizing Snow Kong s Call Me By My Name
ITZY released their fourth mini-album, Guess Who, on Apr. 30, 2021. While the song Mafia in the Morning, the album s title track, is the song gaining attention globally, that is not the case in China.
Instead, fans are calling out the song SHOOT! for allegedly plagiarizing the song Call Me By My Name, a song by Chinese song Snow Kong.

ITZY is the only girl group to reach the top ten of this week s Gaon Weekly Album Chart. Their most recent comeback single, Mafia in the Morning, ranked at number four this week. They ranked at number ten last week, meaning they were able to rise up by six spots.
Their latest album, Guess Who, debuted at the top of the Gaon Retail Album Chart, selling over 58,000 copies in its first week. The album debuted and peaked at number two on the Gaon Weekly Album Chart. With less than a day of tracking, the album entered the Gaon Monthly Album Chart at number five. Upon its release, all the songs from Guess Who entered the Gaon Download Chart.
