Gannon freezes student costs for 2021-22

Gannon University students won t pay more for tuition, housing or fees next academic year. University trustees voted Feb. 19 to freeze student costs for 2021-22. It s the university s first tuition freeze in more than 20 years. Holding the line on costs will help students and families struggling financially because of the COVID-19 pandemic, said Doug Oathout, the university s chief marketing and communications officer. We ve seen what the economy has done to families across the region and across the country and made every effort to do something significant for families and not add to the burdens they might have, Oathout said. Keeping costs at current levels also will help support students in stressful times, Oathout said.
