A court has sent gangster Chhota Rajan (in picture) to 10 years in jail for a firing incident in suburban Malad in 2013.
MUMBAI: Seven accused including extradited gangster Chhota Rajan were on Tuesday convicted and sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment for the murder bid on builder Ajay Gosaliya in 2013, reports Rebecca Samervel.
Three men shot at the now 60-year-old victim on August 28, 2013. Special judge AT Wankhede also fined the accused Rs 5 lakh each. This is Rajan’s fourth conviction. Lodged in Tihar jail, he is serving a life sentence for the 2011 murder of journalist J Dey.
The accused were found guilty under sections of the Indian Penal Code and Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
