The union claims barts chief negotiator has a conflict of interest. We looked into the acquisition and found what appears to be a conflict. Bart hired tom hock to help them avoid a bart strike. It turns out hock also works for another company. That company made money off the bart track. Thomas hock, the lead negotiator for bart has a direct financial interest in the occurrence of a strike. He has a direct financial interest in a prolonged strike. Union leaders filed this complaint accusing hock of a conflict of interest. The problem, hock is the Vice President of Labor Relations at a Company Called veolia transportation. These invoices showed that company
