Legislation was tabled tonight in the House of Assembly, making the minister of finance responsible for the Bermuda Gaming Commission.
New legislation was also tabled in connection with the developmen.
The Bermuda Gaming Commission will receive a guarantee of almost $10 million from the Government to allow it to borrow money to keep operating.
The $9.8 million figure in the 2023-24 Budget represents.
