the culture wars have a certain galvanizing effect on the republican party. i don t think you re going to get them to foresquare that for the sake of public polls for the s sake that the country doesn t like it. we ll see some of these bills in congress. melanie, tell us what you re looking at. we talked about the freak caucus and the fringe members but what i m watching are the republicans in biden-won districts. these are people that will keep them the majority in 2024. they have a lot of sway over the agenda. again, it only takes four people it would take five things to block things like a federal abortion ban or impeachment. there are 17 of them to your point. some of these members are in biden plus 15 districts, pretty blue districts. they ll be walking a really tightrope. kevin mccarthy is going to have to protect them. the white house will try to team
