Flick Packaging Co. damaged by fire Thursday night

Fire gutted the building that housed the company’s cutting department on Thursday, June 24, 2021. Galion Fire Department officials said the building is a total loss. The investigtion into the cause of the fire continues.

Firefighters from the Galion Fire Department were still on the scene Friday following the Thursday night blaze that destroyed a building at the Flick Packaging Co., 340 South Columbus Street in Galion. Officials said no injuries were reported and none of the residential properties surrounding the Flick complex were damaged.
