Christian Gorham booking photo from the Douglas County Sheriff s Office DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. - For the second day in a row, the Douglas County Sheriff s Office (DCSO) has responded to a call of a person entering a home uninvited and being shot by a homeowner. At approximately 5:55 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, DCSO deputies responded to a report of trespassing and a man shot in a Topaz Ranch Estates home in Wellington, Nevada. The trespasser was pronounced deceased at 6:45 a.m. DCSO is currently investigating the incident in the 1500 block of Topaz Ranch Road. Then on May 5 at approximately 4:02 a.m., DCSO responded to the area of Alicia Circle in Gardnerville for occupants reporting an unknown subject entered their residence without permission. The homeowner confronted the subject and discharged a firearm striking the subject once. The subject, who was later identified as Christian Gorham, was detained by the homeowner until DCSO arrived.
