Temporary speed tables coming Tuesday to University Avenue
Temporary speed tables along West University Avenue near the University of Florida campus are expected to be installed beginning Tuesday.
There are four locations where the temporary speed tables will be installed between Gale Lemerand Drive and Northwest 19th Street (at the stadium entrance), immediately east of Northwest 19th Street, immediately east of Northwest 16th Street and immediately west of Northwest 14th Street.
It will take approximately one to two weeks for crews with the Florida Department of Transportation to complete construction. Motorists should anticipate daytime lane closures while construction activities are taking place.
