SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Meeting number seven of the Galaxy Cup series this season has gone to the Syracuse Crunch, who defeated the Utica Comets 6-2, at Upstate Medical University Arena, Monday.
In the only game on the docket throughout the American Hockey League, the Crunch and Comets played through a scoreless first period before Syracuse opened the scoring with an offensive explosion in the second.

The Comets outshot the Crunch 40-18, scoring three unanswered to pull ahead, and held on for second win in as many nights against their Galaxy Cup rival.

UTICA, N.Y. - The Utica Comets heavily outshot the Syracuse Crunch for the second night in a row, and earned a similar result with a 3-2 win over their Galaxy Cup rivals at the Adirondack Bank Center, Wednesday.
Just like on Tuesday night, the Crunch jumped out to a 1-0 lead thanks to a goal from Taylor Raddysh in the first period.

UTICA, N.Y. - The Utica Comets waited 343 days to play a regular season home game at the Adirondack Bank Center, and while playing without fans in attendance, made the most of it, beating the Syracuse Crunch 5-2, Wednesday.
It was the first regular season game at the Aud for the Comets since March 11, 2020, when the team lost to the same Crunch 3-1, in what would be the final game of the 2019-20 season before the suspension and eventual cancellation of the campaign.

Despite the Comets taking more shot attempts, Crunch scored 2 goals per period to earn a 6-1 win in their season opener.

Syracuse, N.Y. - After 332 days, the Syracuse Crunch/Utica Comets rivalry has been renewed. On Saturday night the team’s kicked things off inside a cardboard cut-out and fan-less Upstate Medical University Arena for the first of a 14-game Galaxy Cup series.
Following a 3-2 win in Rochester in their season opener on Friday night, the Comets took on a hungry and high-intensified Syracuse Crunch in their home/season opener.
