Bangalore Mirror had written about how the residents are suffering due to encroachment of footpaths and common areas in front of the flats for economically weaker families – No common ground – on June 11. We also then tracked how the BBMP had finally got into action, and taken up demolition of the unauthorised structures.
There are 34 blocks, and each of them consists of 16 one-bedroom, hall, and kitchen (1BHK) flats. Most of the residents belong to economically backward families. With a few residents constructing structures for business purposes, the residents of the first, second, and third floors were facing a lot of problems finding a place to park their vehicles.
