Sarah Faughender rubbed Stencil Stuff, an aloe-based cream, onto the skin of her mother Sheri, slightly above her right ankle. The cream will help transfer the stencil Sarah s using as the foundation of her mother s tattoo onto her skin.
The outline: an artistic rendition of an angel charm Sarah s grandmother and Sheri s mother Laura Carter used to carry on the rearview mirror of her car. I m starting to get butterflies in my belly, Sheri says. It happens before every tattoo she gets and this one will make number four.
