BEST bus catches fire in Bhandup, passengers evacuated

Mumbai: A bus belonging to the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) fleet caught fire in the suburban
Bhandup area on Friday evening.
The incident took place in
Gadhav Naka locality of Bhandup West around 6 pm when the CNG-run bus on route 606 was ferrying passengers.
All the passengers were safely evacuated from the vehicle.
For latest updates about Nobody was injured as the driver immediately stopped the bus after noticing flames in the cabin near the radiator and asked passengers to get down, a BEST spokesperson said.
