Significantly colder than anchorage alaska. Which was 34 degrees today. The feep freeze. Being called the polar vortex. Is being blamed for 15 deaths most of those in traffic accidents. Reporter chicago actually made it down to 16degrees below zero at one point a record low for january sixth. Reporter schools and museums closed for the day. Here in new york, readings fell 55 degrees in just a matter of hours. And it is similar across the country. Its all life threatening, record breaking and travel tangling.
