Over â¬420,000 worth of drugs at street value was seized by the police. In the operation, after weeks of observation 4 persons were detained. 21kg of drugs, suspected to be cannabis were seized in two locations: Floriana and St Paulâs Bay.
At about 18:00h, the Druq Squad surrounded a van in Floriana. Two men were aseked to step out of the van, a 47-year old Maltese and a 32-year -old Italian. The van was searched and two sealed boxes were found. One of the boxes contained a fridge and the other a freezer. In these boxes 21 packets of what was suspected to be cannabis were found.
